In the second area of Weathertop, in the doorway where the Blacksmith Design is, I got stuck behind the rocks that fell from the ceiling.
As such, it would seem there is some kind of bug in the game engine that causes this. All the LEGO games since then use the same game engine. (Crashes where the whole screen locks, the music and sounds stop, and you have to (gasp!) get up and go hit the reset button on the console.) This seems to happen at random, and has happened since LEGO Indiana Jones 2. Note that this does NOT include whole-game crashes.
